Rosaleen Sanderson

Rosaleen Sanderson was born in Belfast where she studied painting at the Belfast College of Art, and later the History of Art and Design at Birmingham City University.

The human figure has always been the main theme of her paintings. Her focus and interest lie within the linear analysis and forensic observation of the human form.  Rosaleen’s recent works, a series of musician studies, have been inspired by the intensity and emotion expressed in their faces and hands.

She has exhibited widely and has work in public and private collections throughout Ireland, England, Europe, U.S.A., and Canada.
