Helen Kerr

Helen trained at Belfast College of Art, Brighton College of Art and Goldsmiths College, London. Taught in various schools in Belfast until leaving to work full-time in the Lodge Studio, Dundrum. Work is in the medium of Batik and Stitch, and is mostly landscape based, attempting in a not totally realistic way to capture the mood or essence of landscape. Exhibitions include both one person and group shows in Ireland and England, and is represented in the collections of UTV, the Irish Self Portrait Collection in Limerick and many private collections.
